We arrived!!
1 full bag of trash, 12 tired legs and a lot of happy faces... We didn't make it all the way to the south of Rotterdam, because there picking up trash took more time then expected, but that didn't matter! We are very content!

Almost ready!!
Today I was doing the final preparations for tomorrow, cause then it's Keep It Clean Day and I'm gonna walk the TrashWalk!! First I didn't really know for sure how I was going to drag this bag, I was thinking to simply drag it over the street, but since I realised the walk is going to take at least 4 hours, my friends told me that that wouldn't be such a great idea since the bag was going to rip...
So change of plans!!!
Thierry had a great idea, which I then executed! To put weels under a pallet!

The Trashwalk
So what am I doing this month? Well, the idea that won was to create more awarness around littering in connection with the Keep It Clean Day. I wasn't sure how to do this until in a conversation the idea came up to walk through the city with a humonguos trashbag, collecting everything that is on the way. So that is what I'll do! In this way making people aware of the amounts of trash produced and thrown away and the fact that there are people cleaning it all for us.
The promotion of The Trashwalk is all in Dutch, since I'm trying to get people in Rotterdam to join. So here is a little video and of course I made a little cute website again! :-) (sometimes I wonder if I don't spend to much time building websites... :-)

Visiting and working
My brother just got himself a newborn (Matilde) so I decided to pay him a short visit (which lasts a couple of days since he lives in Spain). In between it all I try to work and finish a small website which I'm building to support the upcoming TRASHWALK!!! More details later!!
For now a small teaser :-)
Please tell me you'll combine it with dancewalking ;)!
Then I will be even more sorry that I cannot join you (for I am organizing a Peace Day Flash Mob in Nijmegen on the same day)!
Maybe we will see each again other some other time :)
