This is a good idea in principle. However, although fair trade aims to help producers in developing countries, in reality, there are few regulations that ensure this. In fact, fair trade has been criticised for creating more harm to farmers instead (for more information, check out the wikipedia article on fair trade http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fair_trade). Therefore, I suggest to petition schools to serve healthy food in their cafeterias instead, something like Jamie's Food Revolution (http://www.jamieoliver.com/us/foundation/jamies-food-revolution/why), since the obesity rate in Dutch children seems to be increasing.
