get yourself in a national tv-show promoting this website An idea from Bart

Shouldn't I first do some things to make the world a better place? Because I didn't do anything yet!!! Isn't there this saying about selling the skin before shooting the bear or something?? :-)

And just to check, in what way does this make the world a better place??

-more people (=more minds) will join this site to figure out how you can, even more effectively, creatively, make the world a better place...
but maybe it will be better doing this in a few weeks/months

That's true Ingetje, if people get inspired that would also make the world a better place.

The cool thing about this project is thought, that inspiring others will be the causal effect of me focusing on myself, and what I can do to make the world a better place. And that focusing on what I think others can/should do, takes away the strength of my own project. Therefor I'm totally relieved from that duty!! Because inspiring people probably/hopefully happens automatically as long as I focus on the core of the project...

And of course publicity is nice, because it will bring in more ideas and indeed more people who will possibly get inspired, which is great. But if I focus on publicity it will take away the exact essence which would be inspiring to people: me trying to find out what I can do to make the world a better place.

If people will like the project, they will share it. And I think people will like it most if I'm not busy with getting people to like it :-)

a great side effect would be if you got on tv because of something you did. not as a goal it self.

sure this can be a goal, no side effect whatsoever. The goal is not only promoting this site, but making people think about the world and their responsibility. At least, i notice that i spend a lot of time thinking about how to make the world better since the site started of.
The side effect Paul refers to is only for vain people :)
But i am sure that this project will eventually be picked up by media automatically.

In the end I think we all pretty much agree with eachother, that's nice... :-)

@maarten, i hope that it would be so for the whole world, but i am afraid that is just for the people on this site.

But it's not needed to be on TV to make it popular :) we (yeah, we xD) just need to start changing the world as we can and more people we'll be inspired to change, not because of publicity but because they could realize that is a nice job :) it'd be like a chain :)
