Fight against laziness. Do all things that other people don't do, and with that the world would be easier for all. Example. We don't bring back our shoppingcart on its designated place, but on the parking lot. An idea from Melvin Valverde

Do you mean I should learn Spanish? :-)
I translated the text into English, or actually, @joan did :-)
Saludos.
Great, the beauty of it was that you were not lazy. Greetings.
Just a little question, doesn't it make people even more lazy when everything that they don't feel like doing is being done by other people? So wouldn't this idea actually increase laziness?
Maybe it would be better if nobody would bring back the shoppingcart? Then at some point you would realize that because you can't park anymore since there are stranded shoppingcarts everywhere it's probably better to put them back on their designated place?
Isn't it best if people take responsibility for their own actions and non-actions?
Maarten, ofcourse they should, but they don't. But if you make sure that your actions are visible, i'm sure this action will help.
Maybe you're right, it would be worth giving it a shot and see what the results are.
Anyway I think the first step would be to take full responsibility for my own actions/non actions and to be fully aware of what the consequences are of those actions/non actions. And I know that there is still a lot of untouched and undiscovered terrain which I would like to discover, so that I'll be able to change my doing to decrease the amount of suffering I inflict.
(wow, such a serious sentence :-)
First thing is to do the things right that you know are right. Ignoring the old lady that struggles to reach the other side is much worse than not doing the things you didn't yet discover.
And i hate myself for being slow at this: sometimes I pass that lady (or any small situation that could have used a little help) and half a minute later i suddenly recognize the situation and it's often to late to help.
Not follow your line of thought. Position on the people make the world better. It would make a call to personal embarrassment, noting that the left can do to make the world better, receiving a friendly smile. It can be done in two ways: by noting who was laziness that harms others or harmed by noting what is wrong. The first part is better because it attacks the lazy segment.
As Bart says, is to appeal to conscience that the person believes that what he did is wrong but that small actions the world would be better.
I think the last example of the old lady's help, collaboration and daily habits are actions that hurt everyone. As chewing gum and throw it in the sidewalk or street. Pull the cigarette butt on the street. Littering the pickups. No waiting in line to board a bus ...

Debemos diferenciar entre dar y educar.
We must differentiate between giving and educating.
...you are talking about carelessness, right?
Cause I think 'laziness' as such is in many occasions not such a bad thing...
